Deposit and Cancelation Policy:

  • 50% of total payment due at booking
  • Remaining 50% due 45 days prior to arrival date
  • Full payment required for reservations made within 45 days of arrival date
  • Failure to make final payment may result in cancellation and forfeit of initial deposit
  • Deposits refunded for cancellations made >45 days (with $50 processing fee)
  • No refunds for cancellations made <45 days before arrival date.

Payments Options

     E-transfer:
  • No processing fees.
  • Deposit or full payment to info@dayspring.ca.
  • Credit card required to hold reservation but will not be charged if e-transfer indicated in booking.
  • E-transfer must be made within 24hrs or booking may be cancelled.
  • Please indicate first & last name, check-in date, and cottage name in message.
  • Contact us at info@dayspring.ca or 705-382-3427 for payment issues or reservation changes.
    Credit card:
  • Processing fees apply.
  • American Express: 3.8%
  • Visa & Mastercard: 3.5%
  • Processing fee covers transaction cost.

Check-in:

  • Guests can check in any time after 4pm.
  • If you arrive early, send a text to 705-382-3427 and we'll notify you when your cottage is ready.
  • While you wait, enjoy the amenities on the property, including the waterfront area.

Check-out:

  • Check-out time is 10am.
  • Please check out on time so we can prepare for the next guests.
  • You're welcome to continue using the amenities after check-out.

Parking:

  • For 4-bedroom cottages: Two complimentary parking spots.
  • For 2 and 3-bedroom cottages: One complimentary parking spot each.
  • Additional parking is available in our back lot for $50/week or $10/night/vehicle. Rates are subject to HST.

Registration:

  • All guests must complete a confidential registration form prior to arrival to provide accurate information for our records. Please take a few minutes to complete the form to ensure a comfortable stay and better service.

Visitors:

  • To accommodate all guests, outside visitors are limited. If you wish to have someone visit, please notify the office in advance. An additional fee of $50/guest applies, and they must register prior to arrival.

Pet Policy:

  • You can bring one pet per cottage for an additional fee of $50, applied to your booking.
  • Keep your dog on a leash outside
  • Clean up after them
  • provide their information in the booking form. We reserve the right to refuse certain breeds.

Smoking/Cannabis/Vaping

  • No smoking, cannabis or vaping indoors, on cottage decks, or at the waterfront. Designated smoking area.  See resort map.

Garbage/Recycling:

  • Do not leave garbage on the patio
  • Dispose of waste and recycling materials in designated area at rear of premises

Noise:

  • Quiet time enforced from 10pm to 8am
  • Excessive noise not permitted at any time
  • Be considerate to fellow guests
  • Reservation may be terminated if noise disturbance persists

Waterfront:

  • Swimming at own risk (no lifeguard on duty)
  • Children under 16 must be accompanied by responsible adult
  • Fishing and boating prohibited in swimming area
  • Wear life jacket and have boating safety kit when using flotation devices 

Activities:

  • Participation at own risk
  • Resort not responsible for injuries or accidents

Boating:

  • Valid boating license required to rent a boat
  • All boat rentals must be returned by 7pm
  • $200 security deposit required
